All our technicians have undergone an intensive training programme in all aspects of handpiece repairs, including theoretical and practical training, competency testing and continued education.

Accreditation

All technicians have taken part in training with original equipment manufacturers, such as W&H, Anthogyr, NSK, Bien Air, Kavo and Sirona as part of the DD ‘Repair Accreditation.’ As a customer you will be able to speak personally with the technician undertaking your repair when you are quoted. Feel free to ask their advice about maintenance of your handpieces.

Certified Parts & Inspection

Trained technicians ensure the quality of your handpiece repair by individually inspecting, testing and certifying all replacement parts. No used or uncertified parts are ever installed.

Warranty

All repairs come with a 3 to 12 months warranty, dependent on the repair service chosen. If your handpiece fails whilst under warranty, just send it back together with your original invoice for repair. All handpieces will be dispatched lubricated and in pouches ready for surgery use.

Precision Bearings

High-speed dental bearings operating at up to 500,000rpm are in a class of their own. Leading handpiece manufacturers, including Anthogyr, Bien Air, Kavo and Sirona have inspected and accredited our repair facility and its technicians to ensure repairs are carried out to manufacturer specifications. In addition we work in partnership with Both Barden and GRW, the leading manufacturers of precision ball bearings. These bearings are fitted to devices made by most handpiece manufactures within Europe.

With our Silver and Gold repairs your handpiece is tested using our Acoustic Noise Analyzer. This gives the added assurance that the speed of rotation and noise levels are equal to or better than those specified by the original manufacturer.
